BioLumic light treatments unlock the seed’s natural genetic potential by regulating genetic expression, not the underlying genetics, identifying and activating plant traits for enhanced productivity. We’re programming the genetic expression of plants, creating a cascade of accretive gains. The light treatments are short-duration, typically taking only seconds to administer - but with the treatment effects stored by the seed through the season.

New Opportunities
BioLumic has partnered with Gro Alliance, North America’s largest independently owned contract corn and soybean seed production company, to propel Genetic Expression Traits into the global row-crop seed industry. We are working several select seed companies to develop trait packages for their cultivars with commercialization targeted for 2025.
Our focus is now on exploiting our proprietary knowledge of mode-of-action to lock traits into breeding lines, and help farmers maximize the genetic potential of every seed they plant. Initially we are targeting plant establishment and compositional gains, alleviating immediate challenges for breeders and growers alike. Looking forward, we’ll be developing traits in major seed crops at an industry-leading rate, with increasing speed and precision.
